Time Machine over any network share
There’s no way I’m going to keep an external USB/Firewire drive connected to my PowerBook in order to have hourly backups via Apple’s Time Machine. So after several hours of chasing claims and discussion threads, i did some experimenting and i think i’ve nailed the two simple steps needed to get any network share Time Machine friendly.
